Celebrating A Decade of Broadlands Park & Marina

2025 marks a special milestone for Broadlands Park & Marina as we celebrate 10 years since becoming part of the Tingdene family.

Some of our past visitors and berth holders may remember what the marina looked like back then – full of potential, but in need of some attention. Over the past decade, a lot has changed. From infrastructure improvements to community-building efforts, Broadlands Marina has grown into a boating hub on the Broads. This transformation hasn’t happened overnight, and it certainly hasn’t happened without the support and energy of our berth holders and dedicated onsite team.

When Tingdene acquired Broadlands as their 7th marina back in 2015, the vision was clear: to restore and reimagine the space into something truly special. Thanks to consistent investment and a shared passion for waterside living, that vision is now a reality.

Over the past year especially, there’s been a fresh wave of energy thanks to Marina Manager, Matthew Page. With his enthusiasm and commitment, the marina has become more than just a place to berth your boat, it has become a community. From fun and informative events to regular get-togethers, Matthew has worked hard to bring berth holders, holiday park residents, and visitors together in ways that make this marina feel like something you want to be a part of.

We’re delighted to see the pontoons filled and the site buzzing with activity, especially throughout the summer months. And with Broadlands’ excellent Oulton Broads location providing easy access to both inland and coastal waters, you have the best of both worlds.

This year also sees the exciting launch of Broadlands Active Marina, a new initiative designed to enhance your time both on and off the water. With a programme full of practical marine training, social gatherings, and shared expertise, it’s a great way to meet fellow boaters, learn something new, and enjoy the full marina lifestyle. Expect useful tips, friendly chatter, and even the odd treat. We encourage you to dive into the summer’s itinerary and make the most of it!

Of course, none of this would be possible without our berth holders. Whether you’ve been with us since the early days or have joined more recently, your involvement is what keeps the Broadlands Marina spirit alive. As we celebrate 10 years of progress, growth, and community, we want to say thank you for choosing Broadlands, for supporting its journey, and for being an integral part of its future.

Here’s to the next chapter at Broadlands Park & Marina. We can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together.
