Empowering Excellence: Tingdene Group’s Proud Support of Northampton Rowing Club

Tingdene Group are thrilled to be a proud new sponsor of Northampton Rowing Club, an organisation based close to Tingdene’s Wellingborough head office. Impressively, we have already played a part in contributing to their recent outstanding achievement of surpassing their 12-month fundraising goal, raising over £43,000 to purchase new boats and equipment.

Based in Brackmills on a scenic 3-kilometre stretch of the River Nene, Northampton Rowing Club has made remarkable strides, thanks in part to the generosity of local organisations.

The funds raised are vital in purchasing new single and double boats, enhancing the club’s ability to train and compete at the highest level. Recently, the club celebrated a significant milestone with the naming of six new boats, all funded through community-driven donations and sponsorships. The naming ceremony on 1^st February marked the arrival of these new additions, including the second-hand “Frangipane” and the brand-new “Ronnie,” which made its debut at the Peterborough race on 8th February.

Tingdene Group is honoured to be part of this exciting journey, helping the club reach new heights, alongside local organisations and community in playing a key role in making this achievement possible. As some of the club’s junior rowers gain national attention from the likes of British Rowing and Team GB, the future looks incredibly bright for Northampton Rowing Club.
