Boat Details

Joseph is a well-proportioned 60ft cruiser stern Narrowboat built in 2006 by J D Narrowboats. Designed in a forward layout, this spacious vessel offers a comfortable and practical interior, ideally suited to weekends afloat, liveaboard life, or extended cruising. Entering from the stern, you’ll find a dedicated office space and generous wardrobe storage. Moving forward, the master cabin features a fixed double berth, followed by a bathroom fitted with a Porta Potti toilet. A walkthrough galley leads into the open-plan saloon, which offers ample space for free-standing furniture and creates a bright and sociable living area. Propulsion is provided by a Isuzu 42hp four-cylinder diesel engine. Cabin heating is delivered via a diesel-fired Eberspächer central heating system, complemented by 240V electric radiators and a Morso multifuel stove in the saloon. Hot water is supplied through the central heating system, engine calorifier, and a 240V immersion heater. Both 12V and 240V electrical systems are installed onboard for modern convenience. Joseph is available for viewing seven days a week at Pyrford Marina. To arrange an appointment, please contact the team on 01932 340739.

To port is a comprehensive electrical cupboard housing the boat’s systems, with a cupboard opposite containing a 240V Beko 6kg washing machine. Forward, a compact office area features a collapsible desk, with a chest of drawers positioned opposite, creating a practical and well-organised workspace.

Master Cabin

The well-appointed master cabin features a fixed 4ft 6in double berth with individual reading spotlights above. Storage is provided by a full-height hanging wardrobe and additional space beneath the bed for clothing and personal belongings. A starboard side hatch provides natural light and ventilation.

Bathroom

A spacious bathroom is fitted with a Thetford Porta Potti toilet, a large separate shower enclosure, and a vanity unit with ceramic hand basin. A heated towel rail adds comfort.

Galley

Positioned midships, the walkthrough galley is well equipped with wood worktops and modern appliances, including an under-counter 240V fridge, freezer, and slimline dishwasher. A surface-mounted two-burner electric induction hob and stainless-steel sink complete the workspace. A convenient fold-away breakfast bar enhances functionality, while ample drawers and cupboards provide excellent storage for cooking equipment and provisions.

Saloon

Forward of the galley, the saloon offers direct access onto the bow well deck. The open-plan layout provides a versatile living space, currently furnished with a two-seater sofa and an armchair. A multifuel stove, mounted on a tiled hearth, delivers warmth and comfort, making the boat well suited to year-round cruising or residential use.
