Introduction
'Tailormade' is a 56' 6" traditional stern Narrowboat, built in 1999 by G J Reeves and professionally fitted out by Aynho Wharf Boat Builders in 2000. Presented in a practical forward layout, she offers comfortable and well-planned accommodation, making her equally suited to extended cruising, holidays or life afloat.
Accommodation begins aft with a fixed double berth in the master cabin, followed by a bathroom incorporating a pump-out toilet. Moving forward, there is a useful utility area fitted with a full length wardrobe and washing machine, and a well-equipped walkthrough galley, leading into the spacious forward saloon. The saloon features a freestanding sofa bed and cosy fairy lights, creating a warm and sociable living space with plenty of room to relax and entertain.
Propulsion is provided by a Yanmar Barrus Shire 44hp four-cylinder diesel engine, coupled to a PRM 150 hydraulic gearbox. Cabin heating is provided by an Eberspächer D4WSC 4kW diesel boiler, supplying radiators throughout the boat, complemented by a Morso Squirrel 4.5kW multifuel stove. Hot water is supplied via the engine calorifier and Eberspächer boiler. The boat is equipped with both 240V shore power and 12V domestic electrics, providing the convenience and flexibility required for comfortable cruising and longer stays aboard.
At 56' 6", 'Tailormade' offers a versatile cruising length, providing ample accommodation while remaining well suited to exploring the UK's extensive inland waterways network. Available for viewing seven days a week at Pyrford Marina. To arrange an appointment, please contact our team on 01932 343275.

Bathroom
The functional bathroom is fitted with a pump-out toilet, a bath with overhead shower and a vanity unit with hand basin, providing all the essential facilities for comfortable life aboard.
Utility Area
A particularly useful feature of 'Tailormade' is the dedicated utility area located midships. This practical space houses a 240V Indesit 7kg washing machine, along with additional storage incorporating shelving and a hanging wardrobe. A starboard-side hatch provides additional natural light and ventilation.
Galley
The walkthrough galley is well equipped for extended stays aboard and features a four-burner gas hob, grill and oven, a 12V Shoreline refrigerator with icebox, 240V microwave and a stainless-steel kitchen sink with draining board. An overhead cupboard and generous under-counter storage provide plenty of space for cookware, provisions and weekly food shops.
Saloon
Positioned forward, the bright and comfortable saloon provides direct access to the bow well deck, which is fitted with a cratch board and cover. This provides useful additional storage and creates the opportunity to extend the living space during warmer weather.
The saloon features a freestanding sofa bed, providing comfortable seating for up to four and converting into an additional double berth when required. A port-side corner cabinet provides further storage, while the Morso multifuel stove, set on a tiled hearth to starboard, creates a warm and inviting focal point for the living space.
