Amaryah is a fine example of a Fernleigh Widebeam with excellent space to liveaboard with comfortability and ease. The dimensions of Amaryah allows you a travel up and down the waterways solely if you desired. Whilst spending time on your vessel, you will have the ability to live 'off grid' with the assistance of solar panels up to 2340 Kw max. The interior of the vessel is excellent for relaxing and lounging in the galley with a breakfast bar and the saloon with an open space to look out at the views on the waterways. There has been recent upgrades and work carried out including a 3Kw inverter, new heating system, separate solar panel to charge the bow thruster battery, stove & flu replaced in 2021 and a 6 solar panel set up to tick over the electronics onboard. More solar than you could possibly shake a stick at. Replace the AGM batteries with LiFePo cells and increase the battery storage from 440 Ah to likely over 1500 Ah given the space available. Total solar capacity (max) on the roof is 6 x 390 Kw so basically 2340 Kw max, add a water filtration system and you’re basically seriously off grid.
Being 10ft wide also helps insulate you from paying excessive river license fees when you still have much, much more room than being on a traditional narrowboat.
