Cranchi E26 Classic shortlisted for top award

Published 16th January 2020

Motor Boat and Yachting magazine has selected the Cranchi E26 Classic as a finalist in the Sportsboat category of its renowned annual awards.

The 2021 Motor Boat Awards Awards shortlisted boats have all “been sea-trialled and rigorously tested by the magazine’s technical experts”…and “are judged purely on the boats’ design, ability and value for money in their chosen market place.”

MBY’s Jack Haines stated: “Christian Grande has worked his magic on this little Cranchi. They have produced a design that manages to be beautiful, modern, retro and muscular in a tightly proportioned 26ft package. There isn’t a line out of place on the Classic model, it is simply gorgeous up close.”

You can see a video of Jack’s Cranchi E26 test here.

The final results will be announced in a virtual ceremony on 19 January 2021.

Cranchi T 36 wins European Powerboat of the Year

Published 20th January 2019

A brilliant start to Boot Düsseldorf 2019! Cranchi’s debut Crossover wins the 11-14m category of the prestigious European Powerboat of the Year Awards

Boot is often described as the Oscars of the motorboating world

The European Powerboat of the Year Awards is judged by the editors of eight leading European motorboat magazines.

It highlights truly trend breaking designs that are set to make a big impact in the coming season.

Cranchi’s T 36 Crossover offers lively performance and a comfortable experience that will amaze, considering its compact size. The planing hull ensures remarkable peak speeds, but the space onboard far outweighs those of a cruiser. It’s like taking the practical aspects of a trawler and blending it with the performance of a sportcruiser.

The Cranchi T36 is truly multi-purpose

Practical touches abound. From its hard top and airy wheelhouse saloon, to its connection with the cockpit area on one level without any steps. Prominent lines, both forward and aft, extend the living spaces and give more dynamism and momentum. In the cockpit there is a comfortable seat and along with a grill and a sink set into the furniture. Access to the generous swimming platform is very easy, as is walkaround access around the decks forward. The hard top is equipped with locking holders that can accommodate two bikes, a stand up paddleboard or a canoe.

On the lower deck, all the space is dedicated to the sleeping areas, in two alternative layouts. A choice of two cabins and two bathrooms, or three cabins and one bathroom. It’s yet another example of how the Cranchi T 36 is truly multi-purpose in its concept. As always, a delivery of a great family boating experience.

Tingdene are delighted to represent Cranchi

Neil Mallandain, Sales Director for Tingdene Boat Sales, said: “We’re delighted for our partners at Cranchi that their efforts with the T36 have been so well recognised, right at the start of Boot Düsseldorf. When you speak with the Cranchi family regularly, as we do, you truly understand the passion, high quality engineering and brilliant design that is found in the DNA of each model. We are delighted to be representing this award winning Italian boatbuilder in the UK. Particularly as this is one of the few ranges left in Europe now that provides such a comprehensive set of choices between 26ft and 60ft.

Cranchi brings Italian style to Tingdene line-up

Published 14th February 2018

Cantiere Nautico Cranchi SpA confirmed at the Boot Düsseldorf show last month that it has appointed Tingdene Boat Sales to represent its range across the UK. Cranchi is an Italian high quality motor yacht manufacturer based near Lake Como in Lombardy.

Family boatbuilding since 1870

The Cranchi line-up is born of a family boatbuilding line that stretches back to 1870. A century and a half later, that rich heritage is coupled with an extraordinary blend of Italian design excellence and cutting edge technology. The company’s highly skilled craftsmen employ advanced robotic and other advanced processes to ensure quality is embedded at every step.

Models run from 24ft to 60ft. There’s a wide range of styles to choose from including day cruisers, sports cruisers, hard tops, flybridge yachts and trawlers. A Cranchi owner can progress right through the range. From a stylish and eminently usable outboard-powered weekender to a highly appointed luxury motor yacht.
