George is a well-presented 50’ semi-traditional stern narrowboat built in 1990 by R & D Fabrications. Designed in a forward layout, George offers a comfortable and practical interior, ideally suited for day trips, weekends afloat, or extended cruising. Accommodation is arranged with a fixed double berth in the master cabin aft, followed by a bathroom with a Porta Potti toilet, a well-equipped galley, and a Pullman’s style dinette. The saloon, positioned forward, features an L-shaped sofa offering a bright and social space. Propulsion is provided by a reliable Barrus Shire 38hp 4-cylinder diesel engine, fitted new in 2016 and showing just 712 hours of use. Heating and comfort are assured via a multifuel stove and an engine calorifier-fed radiator system, while 240V shore power and 12V electrics provide modern convenience. At 50ft in length, George is perfectly sized for exploring the entire UK inland waterways network. Available for viewings by appointment only, available for purchase from 1st December 2025.
