‘Northern Star’ is a beautifully designed and exceptionally comfortable widebeam, offering generous living space and a high-quality fit-out throughout. Built in 2019 by Nottingham Boat Co, this 60’ x 12’ vessel is perfectly suited for luxury cruising, a residential liveaboard, or as an elegant floating holiday home.
The cruiser stern deck provides ample seating and is fitted with a full pram cover, allowing the space to be enjoyed in all weather conditions, even with the tiller in position.
Access to the interior is via the port side steps, leading into a bright and airy living space finished in light wood tones with white wall coverings, creating a fresh and contemporary feel.
Immediately to starboard is the practical guest cabin, fitted with staggered ‘L’-shaped bunk beds with storage beneath, along with a large opening window providing plenty of natural light.
Moving forward, the well-appointed galley is arranged in a sociable U-shaped layout. On the port side, a stainless-steel sink with mixer tap sits beneath the side hatch, giving a wonderful connection to the outside while cooking or washing up. The Corian-style composite worktops with silver fleck finish add a touch of luxury. Storage is provided beneath the sink along with an integrated washing machine.
Opposite is a large breakfast bar with seating for up to five people, with additional cupboards and an integrated freezer below. The galley also features a four-ring LPG hob with adjacent opening hatch, oven, microwave, integrated fridge, and ample storage. All appliances are by CDA.
The spacious saloon follows, featuring two three-seat sofas facing each other, creating a comfortable and sociable living area. A Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove is mounted on the forward bulkhead, complemented by a Webasto Thermo TT diesel wet central heating system, ensuring the boat remains warm and comfortable year-round. The vessel is very well insulated throughout.
Continuing forward down the companionway leads to the large shower room, finished in a bright and contemporary style. This includes a spacious shower cubicle with monsoon shower head and separate handheld attachment, a modern basin set into Corian-style work surfaces, and a Vetus electric flush toilet connected to a holding tank.
At the bow is the primary cabin, fitted with a centre island double bed, twin wardrobes, overhead cupboards, and access to the bow thruster compartment.
Hot water is supplied via the engine calorifier, the central heating system, and a 240V immersion heater. Both 12V and 240V electrical systems are installed for modern onboard convenience.
Propulsion is provided by a Beta Marine 56hp engine coupled to a PRM gearbox.
Early viewing is strongly recommended to fully appreciate the space, quality, and comfort this vessel offers.
