Boat Details

Iris Lily is a superb one-owner-from-new 52ft semi-traditional narrowboat, built in 2018 by the renowned Knights Narrowboats. Cleverly designed in the ever-popular reverse layout, she maximises internal space to create a bright and airy interior that feels much larger than her 52ft length would suggest. The well-appointed galley is positioned aft, leading into a spacious saloon featuring an L-shaped dinette and comfortable freestanding armchairs, creating a welcoming and sociable living area. A walk-through bathroom follows, fitted with a modern Thetford cassette toilet with ceramic bowl. Forward, the relaxing master cabin benefits from direct access onto the bow well deck, completing a thoughtfully arranged and highly practical layout. Propulsion is provided by an economical Beta Marine 38hp four-cylinder diesel engine, paired with a PRM 150 D2 gearbox. Cabin heating is supplied via a diesel-fired Webasto central heating system, complemented by a Morso multifuel stove in the saloon. Hot water is delivered through the central heating system, engine calorifier, and a 240V immersion heater. Both 12V and 240V electrical systems are installed onboard for modern convenience. A superb opportunity to acquire an exceptionally well-maintained narrowboat, Iris Lily offers all the quality and condition of a recent new build without the associated premium price tag. Available to view seven days a week at Pyrford Marina. Please contact the team on 01932 343275 to arrange a viewing.

Interior Arrangements

Galley

Entering via the central stern doors, you step into a bright and airy cabin space leading directly into the walk-through galley. Fitted to a high standard, this stylish area features solid wood work surfaces and bespoke cabinetry throughout. Appliances include a Thetford Caprice MKIII four-burner gas hob with grill and oven, a 12V Shoreline fridge with ice box, and a 240V 6kg Beko washing machine. A stainless steel undermount sink with a mixer tap complements the contemporary finish. A fold-away extendable work surface provides additional preparation space when required and neatly stows away when not in use. The starboard-side hatch with glazed inserts floods the galley with natural light and offers excellent ventilation.

Dinette

The L-shaped dinette seats four creating an ideal social space. This area easily converts into an additional double berth when required, with useful storage provided beneath the seating.

Saloon

Located midships, the saloon offers an open-plan arrangement ideal for freestanding furniture to suit individual taste. Currently furnished with two comfortable armchairs, a TV sits neatly on top of a large storage cabinet, creating a relaxing space after a day’s cruising. A dining table folds out when needed and neatly stows away under the gunwale when not in use. A Morso multifuel stove, set on a tiled hearth to starboard, delivers warmth and ambience during the cooler months, making the boat well suited to year-round cruising.

Bathroom

The walk-through bathroom is well proportioned and thoughtfully arranged, featuring a good-sized shower enclosure, a Thetford cassette toilet with ceramic bowl, and a vanity unit with mirror above, creating a modern and practical washroom space.

Master Cabin

Forward, the relaxing and well-appointed master cabin features a fixed ottoman style double berth with overhead LED reading spotlights and aft corner shelving. A generous amount of under-bed storage is easily accessed via gas struts. A good-sized wardrobe with shelving and hanging space, together with an additional storage cupboard opposite, provides ample room for personal belongings. The master cabin also benefits from direct access onto the bow well deck.
