‘That Wey’ is a spacious 60ft two cabin Narrowboat built by Arcrite Fabrications, commissioned in 1986 and launched in 1988. Designed in a forward layout, this well-proportioned vessel offers generous accommodation, making her an excellent choice for liveaboard use or extended leisure cruising. The interior is arranged with a double cabin aft, followed by a bathroom fitted with a Thetford cassette toilet. Forward of this is a second double cabin, then a practical U-shaped galley. The open-plan saloon is found forward and offers ample space for free-standing furniture, with direct access onto the bow well deck, ideal for relaxing and entertaining. Propulsion is provided by a Barrus Shire 40hp three-cylinder diesel engine. Cabin heating is supplied via an Alde gas-powered central heating system, complemented by a multifuel stove in the saloon. Galley
The U-shaped galley is well equipped with a surface-mounted Country Leisure 9 Series four-burner gas hob, with a built-in Belling gas grill and oven beneath. Additional features include a stainless-steel kitchen sink with draining board and single-lever mixer tap, a 12V fridge with ice box, and good-sized storage cupboards.
