Robert Ives ex Thames Conservancy launch - Teddington, 1973
This is a rare opportunity to purchase one of the ex Thames Conservancy launches, built to a very high standard.  The boat is built of fibreglass in 1973 by Robert Ives (Boat Builder) Ltd, Christchurch, Hampshire and fitted out by Thames (Ditton) Marina Ltd and refitted by R J Prior & Son (Burnham) Ltd in 1988. Painted Squall Blue with blue water line and blue antifouling, cream superstructure and cabin top, treadmaster decks and all-round fendering. 

Engine: Thorneycroft type 154, No.25P 1788B/O 1188, Serial No. 4642, 4 cylinder marine diesel with PRM gearbox No 6209, 2-1 reduction coupled to an aquadrive and a 1 3/8th inch stainless steel shaft driving a manganese bronze propeller, the engine also drives a 1.5 inch clutch operated Jabsco auxiliary deck pump. Insulated engine room via opening hatches 4ft x 2ft 3in, is well fitted out, all cables neatly wired and well clipped, also housing two 12 gallon stainless steel fuel tanks interconnected and filtered. Instrumentation includes revolution counter oil pressure and water temperature gauges, and ammeter, auxiliaries at the wheel include engine stop, horn button, panel light, cabin heater, single lever Morse control throttle and gear change. General Arrangement: 7ft foredeck with pilot rail, bull ring central cleat, hawse-pipe, CQR anchor on anchor pads with a good length of galvanised chain.  7ft cabin with vee windscreen, marine windscreen wiper on pantograph arm, two Widney seats, pull-out side table with locker beneath to starboard, storage locker to port and cabin lights, glazed double doors to the aft of the cockpit which is open, with lockers and central oak towing post with brass trim. All wood furniture is in teak, floors are teak-faced. The cabin roof has teak hand rails and a vent, aft is the engine followed by 7ft 3in x 5ft 6in cockpit with forward and aft seating over lockers, varnished cockpit sole and removable weed box. The craft is well furnished and included in the specification are navigation lights and chromium plated searchlight, hand operated bilge pump, cockpit cover, aft-well tonneau cover and strongback and ensign socket.
