Mermaid & Drummer Boy is a well-presented 55ft cruiser stern Narrowboat built in 1991 by the respected builders Colecraft Engineering. Designed in a forward layout, she offers a comfortable and practical interior, making her well suited to day cruising, weekends afloat, or longer-term adventures on the inland waterways. The accommodation is thoughtfully arranged with a fixed double berth in the aft master cabin, followed by a bathroom fitted with a pump-out toilet, and a well-equipped galley. Forward, the open-plan saloon provides a versatile living space, ideal for free-standing furniture and socialising aboard. Propulsion is provided by a BMC 2.5 45hp four-cylinder diesel engine. Cabin heating is supplied by a multifuel stove located in the saloon, while onboard systems include both 240V shore power and 12V electrics for modern convenience. At 55ft in length, Mermaid & Drummer Boy is an excellent size for cruising the full UK inland waterways network. She is available for viewing seven days a week at Pyrford Marina.
