Patrica Joan is a well-presented one owner from new, 60ft Cruiser Stern Narrowboat, built in 2006 by the highly respected Liverpool Boats. Designed in a practical and family-friendly forward layout, this versatile vessel offers excellent accommodation, ideal for comfortable liveaboard use or extended cruising on the inland waterways. Her layout comprises a day toilet aft with a Thetford cassette toilet, opposite a useful workshop space (which could easily be converted or removed to suit the new owner’s needs), a convertible guest cabin with a sofa bed and collapsible single bunk, and a master cabin with a fixed across width double berth. The bathroom is equipped with a pump-out toilet, while the well-appointed galley leads through to a spacious forward saloon designed to accommodate free-standing furniture. Powered by a reliable Isuzu 42hp diesel engine and fitted with a Vetus bow thruster for enhanced manoeuvrability. Central heating is provided by a Webasto diesel-fired system, complemented by a multi-fuel stove in the saloon. Hot water is supplied via the engine calorifier and the central heating system. Both 240V and 12V electrics are installed onboard, ensuring all the comforts required for extended stays afloat. At 60ft, Patrica Joan is perfectly proportioned to navigate the UK inland waterways network. An ideal family boat with five berths, or a spacious and adaptable liveaboard for those seeking comfort and flexibility on the water. Available to view seven days a week at Pyrford Marina. Interior Arrangements

Aft Cabin

Entering the boat from the stern, you are welcomed into a practical and well-equipped aft cabin. To port, a convenient day toilet/cloakroom features a Thetford cassette lavatory (with spare cassette), hand basin with hot and cold water, filtered drinking water tap, and a heated towel rail. The stern cabin also includes a small full-height hanging space and a 240V Candy washing machine with shelving above for added utility.

Opposite, a fitted workbench with vice provides a dedicated workspace for DIY or craft enthusiasts (easily removable if not required). Beyond this lies a convertible guest cabin, featuring a free-standing sofa that opens out into a 4’6” double bed, with the option of a removable single bunk above,  a clever design offering comfortable guest accommodation or additional lounging space as needed.

Master Cabin

Located midships, the spacious master cabin features a fixed full-size (4ft 6in) across width double berth, complemented by overhead cupboards, two full-height wardrobes, and reading spot lights. The layout maximises storage and comfort, creating a bright and restful sleeping space.

Bathroom

The main bathroom has been thoughtfully designed with a large wall mirror, giving a sense of additional space. Fitted with a pump-out macerator toilet, hand basin, 4ft bath with shower and glass screen, and a heated towel rail connected to the Webasto diesel-fired heating system, it provides the comforts of home while cruising.

Galley

A well-equipped galley features a Caprice gas cooker with four burners, grill, oven, and useful pan storage, together with a Danfoss stainless-steel 12V fridge. A Nature Pure filtered water system ensures clean drinking water, while plentiful storage beneath the work surfaces keeps the space neat and functional. A freestanding table provides additional workspace or dining area, and a starboard-side hatch floods the galley with natural light and ventilation.

Saloon

The open-plan saloon is a warm and inviting space with ample flexibility for free-standing furniture. A Stovax Stockton 3 multi-fuel stove provides a cosy focal point, complemented by a wall-mounted TV/DVD player and an extendable freestanding dining table. Hinged steps lead out to the bow deck, offering additional storage and access to a full cratch canopy, perfect for alfresco dining or relaxing under cover.
