Barataria is an all steel 40ft cruiser stern Narrowboat built in 1984 by Springer Engineering. Designed in the popular reverse layout, this Narrowboat offers a galley aft, a saloon with an L shaped dinette, a walk-through bathroom with pump-out toilet, and the convertible master cabin is found forward. Powered by a BMC 1.5 four-cylinder diesel engine. Cabin heating is provided by multi fuel stove in the saloon. Hot water is supplied by a Paloma instant gas hot water heater. 12V electrics onboard. Galley
Entering the boat via the stern doors leads into a cosy cottage style cabin with pine tongue and groove panelling. A compact galley is found aft and features an Electrolux gas powered fridge with ice box, a Bush four burner gas hob, grill, and oven. Stainless steel kitchen sink with draining board.
