Sigard, a Cruiser Stern 42ft Narrowboat built and fitted J.D. Boat Services and Canalcraft Ltd in 2000.

Designed in a forward layout, this vessel offers a cabin aft which can facilitate either a double bed or twin single beds, a bathroom with a pump-out toilet, a saloon with an L shaped dinette and a galley is found forward.

Powered by an efficient Yanmar Barrus Shire 35hp 3-cylinder diesel engine. Central heating and hot water is supplied by a Eberspacher diesel fired system running radiators throughout the boat. 240V and 12V electrics on board.

Blacked with new Anodes in January 2021. Engine serviced in April 2023. Boat safety certificate valid until April 2026.

Interior

Master Cabin

A comfortable convertible double cabin which can feature twin single beds or can be converted to form a good size double berth. Cupboard with shelving inside and handing wardrobe opposite. Inverter control panel at rear entry.

Bathroom

The bathroom features a pump out toilet, a hand basin set in a vanity until and a hip bath with shower.

Saloon

An L-shaped dinette that can seat 3/4 guests comfortably around the full-size dining table, additional guests can be accommodated around the table with extra chairs. The dining table can be neatly tucked away under the gunnel when not in use. The dinette will also convert into a double bed to accommodate an additional two berths when required.

Galley

The galley has direct access onto the bow well deck. The galley features port and starboard work surfaces with a four-burner gas hob, grill and oven, stainless-steel kitchen sink with draining board, under counter 12V Shoreline fridge with ice box. Plenty of storage doors and cupboard space.
