Mist Over Ethandune is a late 2006 Semi-traditional stern narrow boat. The shell was built by Liverpool Boats. It has been fully refitted from the ballast up in 2020 to an exceptionally high standard. Everything on the boat was brand new in 2020 apart from the engine, which has been totally checked, serviced, and repainted in its original colour. The engine has completed only xxx hours from new. Additional Information
230VAC, 16A Shore Power can be supplied from either Bow or Stern using a Bow/Stern changeover switch mounted on the 230VAC Consumer Unit. Red neon indicators show shore power available. The batteries are protected from high load and surges with a 150Amp master fuse within the engine bay.
The water system can be filled from either Bow or Stern. When filling from Stern, open isolation valve in wardrobe to fill. Close valve after filling to avoid water pump drawing air into the system.
The bow gas locker can house 2x 35kg Propane cylinders. Manual changeover regulator selects cylinder. Bubble tester for self-testing. Test point for safety test. Shut-off tap under cooker. The hull was PU spray foam insulated when new. 50mm 'Rockwool' was added for additional insulation during the re-fit up to Gunwale.
LG Smart TV with FreeView, Status 355 roof mounted antenna, and 12V amplifier. Cabled for Satellite (FreeSat) and for a 2nd TV in the bedroom. 230V socket and Aerial outlet in wardrobe. Port side bow cupboard has cables for FM/DAB radio from Status 355 or flexi aerial.
The bed was replaced in 2023 with a full size 4'6'' wide double bed. It can be replaced with a smaller 4' bed and the frame can be pushed back by six inches providing more floor space if needed.
An oak framed 3-seater double sofa-bed is provided in the lounge area for accommodating guests.
The bed can be pulled out by approximately six inches giving more room under the gunwale.

The cupboard under the breakfast bar will take a 'Studio' type washing machine. A 230V socket is provided but will only work when plugged into shore power. Cold water plumbing and outlet pipe is also in this cupboard. Second (failsafe) isolator tap for cold water supply located under sink units, behind kick board.
Similarly, the 1 kW immersion heater will only work when plugged into shore power. Fresh water system pump is located under the two wardrobe drawers. The shower pump is located behind the toilet inside the vanity unit.
10mm cables are supplied to the under breakfast bar cupboard should a 12VDC fridge be required. These cables are not connected in the electrical cupboard.
The pump-out outlet is located on the port side of the stern entry hatch, enabling access to pump-out facilities from either side of the boat (particularly useful on canals).
It is advisable to leave the three main radiator valves fully open at all times. The bathroom valve can be used to regulate temperature if required. This will prolong the life of the Webasto heater. Hot water is also provided via this system, allowing domestic water to be heated from either the engine, Webasto or the immersion heater.
A wooden cockpit table is stored in the bedroom and can be mounted in the cockpit for al-fresco dining!
There is a desk area towards the bow to provide a work-at-home facility.
