Freeman 23 – ‘Wagtail’

A beautiful traditional aft cockpit cabin cruiser Built by John Freeman in the 1970s. She is fitted with a Ford Sea Wolf petrol engine which has recently been serviced. She is finished in original gel coat other than the decks which have been finished with deck paint. The internal and external joinery appears to be in very good condition and is varnished to a good standard. New cockpit upholstery and teak effect flooring finished to a very high standard.Wagtail has pressure hot and cold water supplied from a 15 Ltr calorifier, a Jabsco sea toilet with holding tank, LED lighting, and Propex hot air heating.

She has the usual open plan cabin with four berths and has a folding partition for extra privacy.

She has a river Thames License Dec 2023 and a Boat Safety Certificate until Oct 2026.

Accommodations

Aft cockpit with hard top and blue vinyl canopy, helm seat to port and a neat navigator fold down seat to starboard with a bench seat across the transom.

A timber door and steps lead down to the saloon which has the galley to starboard with a dinette opposite (converts to a double berth). Moving forward, the toilet is forward of the galley and has a Jabsco pump toilet (with holding tank). There is a large storage cupboard opposite with a fold out partition separating the front of the saloon which has a V berth which can also convert to a double berth.

Engines

Ford Sea Wolf Watermota (with electronic ignition) with shaft drive. Recently serviced.

Also includes a very full compliment of spare parts.
